One reason why I'm seriously looknig forward to moving out of my parents' house (I'm currently hoping to find roomies and work in Bratt or Marlboro, sinmce nothing around here is in walknig distance) is that I'll be able to begin crafting liqueurs again. I have some unusual ideas that I want to try in the future. Badly. [For, example, imagine the following blend, which came to me in a dream (how crazy is that): citrus, lemon balm, flower petals, and plums. Possibly in whiskey, rather than vodka, though i'm keen to experiment. Odd? Intriguing? Nasty? I can't decide without tasting first.]

Whiskey would be interesting, but I think brandy would be worth a try as well for that recipe. (Bear in mind, this is coming from a guy who can barely choke down some brandies and despises almost all whiskeys)

\yeah...My dislike of brandy was why I've hesitated as far as using it for liqueur bases. But it might be worth a shot...or two (*_-)
