Well, I think I about timed everything right in terms of how much time to really meander around the South Pacific. So I started my crazy South Pacific adventure yesterday (well, technically 2 days ago thanks to the dateline) in HNL (where I actually worked all day...seriously!). It's rather hot and muggy too - which I'm sure is what I can expect every day over the next 2 weeks ( Read more... )

off to a new city today for work - STL - never been to St. Louis...and never seen the arch.

We are staying in the burbs and meetings in the burbs, but I think I'm going to demand a trip downtown on Wednesday night since I've never seen the bloody arch!

So today is Lundi Gras (Fat Monday) and tomorrow is Mardi Gras which is the end of the gluttonous period and the start of some sacrificing.

Normally, I give up a few things and this year is pretty much the same.  Funny thing is that I usually lose 10 lbs over the 6 weeks...

So, I'm thinking I might do a crazy trip for Memorial Day...3 new ISO countries off the list, though!  I'd work the first day in Hawaii (the Thursday) then it would be all vaca...I'd rent a car on each island so that I could see the island and probably do a little beaching here and there...the return home would really REALLY suck though...
