I am going to run a WoD Mortals IRC game. It's going to be flippin' awesome. It's going to use things like web resources to heighten the experience: so if you are at a certain location, you will be able to see the location. Everything will be linked in to a Google Map, as well as web stuff. I wish I could say 'wiki', but I can't at present.

That's because it is.

Fun, for those that don't know, sounds much like: "Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!", and also "Whump whump diddly whump". There are a variety of sounds.

Well, as I say there are a couple of ways of doing it, and I'd like to discuss it with players once I've got a whole bunch. One possibility is that they've all signed up to a company on the lure of going to the exotic east (publishing/TV companies quite often recruit in the UK, and recruit people with no journalistic experience - just being able to read and write English is good enough). Thus the whole 'can't leave as I've got this visa thing going on' stick. There are several other ways, too.

But like I say, it's a fishies out of water game, where you can still fully interact with the world around you.

Good luck with it, troupe game for the win! Being free of Cam/IoD restrictions/conventions is wonderfully freeing in terms of storytelling.
