OMG, an update.
Wow, it's been a long time since an update! Anyways living here in Scotland is good, though have gotten homesick every now and then... But today is a beautiful day. Have sat in the sun reading and taken the pup for a walk and despite feeling tired (Kelpie's work transferred the phones to him so it was ringing all night long, I think. Been a really long time since I updated my LJ. I've realized that I really update this when I'm not feeling so great. Usually I keep myself pretty well occupied so I don't go near LJ. I got a new job. At swedish superstore Ikea!! It's very close to home and though it's only casual it's been implied that I'm going to get more hours than I am now at Officeworks. Very happy. I had the interview today and within half an hour of finishing it I had been phoned back and told I have the job. Awesome ( Read more... ) -

Well, JB's was a bust. It started off with the guy who was supposed to interview me not being there at all and some one else doing it. Went through it all but I don't think I had that salesman "killer instinct" he mentioned, and to be honest I'm not too upset about it. Have an interview for a job at JB-HiFi on monday!! Hope I get it. Just not sure if it's full time or part time but that doesn't really matter too much to me. As long as the pay's good of course. Got yelled at today by a strange american woman I sold a dictaphone to yesterday. She had to examine all the contents of the box and them put them down in a different part of the store and left them. Frell me dead
After my last 6 weeks of only 15hrs a week I was offered a 40hr week at another officeworks store for this week. God it's only the end of the second (of five) days and I'm ready to just quit. The two hour hike just to get there is bad enough but the whole store just sucks. It's in an area where the main customers are snotty business people who ( Read more... ) -

Bought myself a graphics tablet from ALDI. Love it!! Coloured one of my old drawings using photoshop. Drawing not so good because it's old but I think I did okay with the colour for a first try.
