Scenes from Medea

ABSTRACTI had written something last week but then didn't post it. You are all lucky because it sucked more than normal. Not that this post is any better because nothing else of note has happened, but at least I'm moving my pathetic last post down the chain a little bit. I watched a lot of movies. Hitler was a human! I hung out with undergraduates ( Read more... )

Ahh, cake for breakfast.

And 'The Downfall'. I really meant to see that before I left. Glad to here it was good.

I loved 'Garden State', although that may simply be because I empathized way, way too much with the main character.

It was good cake, too! Yummy.

Hee. I'm lucky in that I can't empathize, but the whole deadpan-ness of it made me laugh. I like my humor dry, like my gin.

Yeah, it's not something I'm especially proud of, but there is it. :P

I like my humor dry, like my gin.
Heh. I like my gin with lemon-flavor, or with cranberry.

But I like my women like I like my coffee; ground up and in the freezer. ;)

*dances for you*

I'd talk to you, but I have nothing interesting to say.

Erm. Flexcar, yay!

Can't go see the cool fun thing at curling tonight, boo.

My uncle wants us to have the reception for our omgwtfbbqwedding at his country club, wtf?

Yeah, that's about all I've got. Work has sucked my brain dry.

Yay Flexcar? Why?

WHO NEESD A BRANE?!! Clearly not I.

Why? Why not? Because my car is still DED, and I have no other way to get around than bum rides off of people. So, this is good for once or twice a month, getting the hell out of dodge. YAY. Plus, don't have to pay for gas. Definitely a bonus. Urm. Yeah. Had other things to say, but nope! all gone.

I would kill your dead car, but apparently I have already been beaten to it. By istelf.

I briefly considered Flexcar, but then I figured that to use it to go curling would actually be more expensive than buying my own car.

Maybe eating that cake this morning is exactly what gave you the gumption (wee, I like that word, even if I'm not sure I spelled it correctly) to sit down and write this post? Maybe the roundup would materialize again if you did that!

But then again, no, because then you'd have to sand your face, and that would uhm, hurt.

Well, I often write without having had breakfast. But maybe. Or maybe I just felt an obligation! I don't know. Maybe something with, like, nutirtional value will inspire me to write something intelligent.

HAHAHAHAHA

You totally spelled gumption correctly.

It would hurt, true, but then my skin would be SMOOOOTH! A little pain is worth it for TRUE BEUATY!!! Which doesn't come from inside. Please. Inner beauty. That's like military intelligence.

really goofy all of a sudden

And if you sanded your face, I guess you also wouldn't have to shave as well! Yanno, you might be on to something with this.

And goofy is good, espcially on such a BRIGHT, CHIPPER day as this one.

my team is not playing tonight! because they are awful slackers who refuse to get three subs to play with me in a game that wouldn't count away or sick, alas. i'm subbing in the late draw, though, so yay! and double yay, because now i will have time to go home and get that keyboard for you that i totally forgot this morning (and also do laundry, as my estimate of clean socks was overly optimistic). and don't let me forget! i need to get a cherry blossom shirt as a present for a friend of mine.

i'm a little scared of your surprise....

IT WILL BE SURPRISING!!! And not totally scary.

I still need to do laundry, too. YAY.

POO on your team, though.
