I need a cheap computer that can run windows

Does anybody have a computer that they're looking to get rid of? I need a cheap machine which I can use as a Windows test machine. I've got no real requirements other than it be able to run windows xp pro.

I saw a guy running Windows on his MacBook Pro the other day when I was on BART. It was so weird.

I may have one of those.

I have a tower with a 1GHz processor in it, and maybe 512Mbs of RAM in it. The only thing that might be missing is a HD. I have two other spare PCS laying around. I don't think they'd be good for running XP on, but I may be able to use a HD from one in the machine that will run XP. We can find out.

If you would like... the U sells cheap computers and I can get them cause I'm still technically a student. I can find you the website at somepoint in the nearish future. :-)

Or you could just go to the university computing services center and find it yourself... heh
