Today marks 7 months I have been in Australia, and it still feels like I just got here. Lately more so than ever, with a very acute sense of Homesickness hitting me like a hammer sometime around mid month last month. I have been keeping busy to try and get it too pass, and I’m sure it will eventually, but in the mean time

Phew…glad that is off ( Read more... )

heyyyyyy, haven't heard anything outta you in a coon's age. Yeah that's right, I just said, "coon's age". I know what you mean with the missing everyone thing, since moving to calgary all i can think about is the specifice experiences I used to have with my friends, my favorite times to be with them just flashes through my head and it sucks! Not to mention my lil bro starting high school --i won't be able to be an outlet for his teen angst!

Hey miss supernext
Yeah man. I have flashes all the time, or think.. this one freind would love this, and BAM...homesickness. It'll pass though.
I feel you on the little brother angle as well. My bro is about to move to BC and is going into junior High. I want to be there to give him all the good and bad advice that I can.

Word. Mom and Lil' Bro and leaving to the other side of the country. Lil' Bro leaves really soon, and Mom at the end of the Summer.

I feel you all too well as I too have a landmark today (the 4th) - 3 months in the RoK.

The honeymoon is over... have got a few negative experiences along with all the good. And although I sometimes still feel surprised when I leave my apartment, it's generally sunk in that I'm living in Korea, and far away from most of the people I love and care for.

It's really too bad you couldn't make it to Matt's wedding the other day... it was good times and it would've been great to see a familiar face, if only briefly to fight the homesickness.

Good to see you're doing well, I think I might just send out a mass e-mail to friends and family to give an update on my life and hopefully get a few updates back from those who I haven't heard from since I left Canada.

I never see you on MSN, so I'll humbly ask that you find the time to blog more.

Take care of yourself, brother.

YITB.

Hey Brother,
I know what you're feelingall to well. It will pass,of this I promise, and by the last few months you will wonder what it will be like to go back for a while.
Please Givemy Love to Matt an Jules. I was sad when I realized that I would not be able to make it to the ROK for the wedding. It also would have been very nice to see some close friends.
I read you email and it sounds like you're settling in well. I wiltry to blog more, and put more time into this. Not just to keep in touch but also for me.
Much love brother from your brother down under

Thank you Thank you. It was about a month and a half ago and has been cut off, and all grown back again. I am going bald for next summer I have decided.
