Laurie has a date with her uncle to go skiing in January, in either Utah or Colorado, I forget which. They are celebrating her 40th birthday and his 60th. Laurie hasn't been downhill skiing in a decade, and she's been waiting for the ski areas to open so she can get some practice before flying out there
