I honestly don't care what people choose as their religion, though I am offended by those who force their religion (even atheism) on others. But I just can't help giggling on certain people that believe in reincarnation, so I thought I'd offer up some guidelines for those that don't want me to making fun of them

*Laugh* That is pretty funny. I believe in reincarnation, but not the type that people normally think of. I think you get to choose whether to come back or not, it's not an automatic thing. Regardless, if someone is choosing famous people as a past-lifee, I think it has more to do with their ego than what actually may have happened. :P

I'm certainly not casting any judgment on reincarnation as a belief, or even having been someone famous in your past lives, because if reincarnation is true, then there are are lot of famous ex-people walking around in new bodies. I've known a lot of people that claim one or two that they really identify with, and a few that have claimed up to a dozen. This guy was kings, popes, pharaohs, prophets, artists, emperors, scientists, mathematicians, etc. It was really tough to keep from laughing out loud when he hit the overlapping lives.

LOL. I know a lady interested in geneology who claims to be descended from every notable person who ever existed.

Actually, the way the royal families especially intermarried, it is a distinct possibility. At least to some extent.

I think reincarnation is a possibility, however I don't think anyone can know the exact person they were. A social class or an occupation, maybe, but not specifics.
