I agree with you! Garlic smashed potatoes with the skins on are the best! Yours sound particularly beautiful, with all the different colors of potatoes.

So you mash them with chicken stock? I'll have to try that, especially since Alan's lactose intolerant.

That sounds ridiculously good.

I also feel sorry for all the folks who think that mashed potatoes should be absolutely smooth with no texture. There must be chunks. There is no alternative.
