Snowy 24th

Today I became another year older, and it's been a pretty good day so far. Woke up with the intent of going to work... got ready, went to start my car and find that it's buried in about a foot of snow, 4 inches of ice and the plow had so graciously left a big bank of snow right behind it. Called into work, explained the situation, and they told me

Oddly, it was -20C (-4F) a few days ago, here in Toronto, but today it was +15C (59F) or so, and melting gangbusters! That's a 35C (or 63F) temperature change in something like 3 days. WTF?

Yeah, that is strange weather, but a similar thing happened back when I was in highschool - 72 degrees for 2 days in the middle of February. Lots of people got sick from it, I was lucky :P
