UPDATE FROM YESTERDAY

Aug 24, 2006 09:41

Apparently finding out the night before that your cancer might be back and you have a few Cyst that you need to have an operation remove, cause mood swings and make you lash out at people. I’m still learning the facts. There is usually more to stories that we are told.

There may be more to the story, but it doesn't make what she said any less rude. To say that you live a pampered life and have never had any setbacks, even minor, is ridiculous. I know the steroids have caused me to lash out at people, but even I know that it's rude and apologize for it.

Sometimes yes...sometimes no...anger as a response to stress...well...makes more stress. She either needs to ask for help...or work things out for herself without involving you...because you're not the backboard to her basketball game...you know? You shouldn't have to take all the shots that she misses. Catch or move out of the way.

Hey...that's not bad...I ought to copyright these things...

Point being...in a relationship...you shouldn't have to play the "What's wrong that is making you a bitch?" guessing game. That's a head game...no matter what the reason.

Really...I've had crappy, crappy shit happen to me...and I really try not to take it out on people...but sometimes it's unavoidable...or the person IS the reason...and well...like Holly said...I am big enough to apologize when I'm Ms. Cranky Pants.

Shit...that sucks. What kind of cancer did she have? Sounds like a stressful situation. Hopefully, she'll apologize.
