My cat Conana turned 20 last month. She lives with my sister, because she likes Adrian's dog, and hates every other pet on the planet. In case you missed my previous post, I would like to announce my official designation of: Cured of Cancer.

It's an amazing thing. I grin like an idiot every time I think about it...

I have an appointment for a chest x-ray today. If the radiologist says my lungs look fine, then I am officially cured of cancer. I've lived with the prospect of cancer spreading for a decade now, I wonder what it will feel like to be declared cured?

So I'm unpacking, rediscovering all the cool things I haven't seen since January, and I pull out this small quilted square my mom gave me to protect my recliner from cat hair.
