Seriously. It gives me hope that fate is real. I mean they only dated for THREE months in highschool and then when my mom went up to see him they both said they just knew they were meant to be together. My dad even said before they reunited he didn't plan to get married. They outlasted almost all their highschool friends who had traditional weddings with men they had dated for years. I think it's awesome and I agree

that's awesome! my parents have a similarly crazy story...my dad fled iran when the revolutionary war began in fear of being killed because he was part of the anti-government movement. he ends up living wherever he can around europe, and eventually ended up in a small town in spain called cuenca. walking around town, he caught a glance of my mom, who was 16, asked her out knowing very little spanish, and they fell in love. without even knowing how to fully communicate in the same language, and with no funds, they agreed to get married and move to america. almost thirty years later...they're still together.
