Everything and nothing has been happening of late. I'm one of the two MLT Club representatives to the Midlands Tech Student Advisory Board. Translation? I by default get to be in charge of fundraisers, activities, conference participation, etc. Right now is the coffee fundraiser that seems to be sucking up my time and money. A few thoughts only
It is so very wonderful to have a Spring. With rain. I've seen bachelor's buttons, yellow jasmine, wisteria, honeysuckle, and lots of blackberry vines and dandelions in full bloom, which doesn't happen every year. Although I am going to regret the fact that I'm not in bed right now at, oh, 6:00 AM tomorrow, I felt that I should update, at least a little. After my sixth move in two years, I'm now back at home with my mom to keep her company. Down the Rabbit Hole
I write to you four days after learning that I've been accepted to my local library science graduate program, which is a welcome relief to my worried mind. That book...
...was fantastic. Her most glorious work yet. And if the hypocritical, self-righteous Christians who have been banning Harry Potter keep up their mantra after this book (especially if they are Tolkien and Lewis fans), I just might have to shove them into the Sorting Hat and jam it down on Grawp's head! -
The movie...
...stinks. And I'll probably never like it until they finally decide to totally follow the book, put in more humor, give redheads a chance, and make it into a longer movie or two installments. -
