The company finally closed a deal, and a big one -- hopefully another will be closing in two or three weeks. It's a relief. It's so nice not to have a money market account in negative numbers

It very much does, actually. Jekyll was a good man who had done good for most of his life, but the repression was getting to him -- he thought maybe that if he could separate the evil side from the good the good could be pure and the evil could be unbothered by conscience. This lasted until he killed a man, and then he swore off the potion. Unfortunately by that point the evil part had become stronger and he began to change spontaneously; in his last days he locked himself up above his own house, would take no callers, and eventually ran out of the ingredient for the potion that would let him stay Jekyll. When his friend and servant kicked in the door to see if he was still alive and not the murderer Hyde he poisoned himself in despair.
