Phone call fun
I thought I was going to have a lazy day today, but instead I've spent most of it trying to be a Responsible Adult. This is frustrating when both att.com and comcast.com refuse to acknowledge the existence of my address, leading me to need to call the companies for information, which involves figuring out multiple ways of saying "No, thanks" to ( Read more... ) -

Monday mornings can be good!
I have had a very productive morning. I woke up at a decent time, read, cleaned, and cooked. I'm about to eat breakfast and watch at least part of a movie, and then I'll clean more. A lot more. I have a phone call or two to make, I might need to drop by a bank (but hopefully I can take care of things over the phone), and later in the afternoon ( Read more... ) -
Staying home = movie day
I'm trying to decide whether or not I should watch the original Tron while I'm on heavy-duty prescription medication... -
First day at work (kind of)
So far, the new job's not so bad, it's just incredibly boring. I think it's the first job I've ever had where you don't need to have any sort of skills at all. Well, except folding. Which I think will be OK since there's an actual table that aids with that, plus as long as I have a flat surface I can make it work, but the lady who was showing me ( Read more... ) -
Mixing it up
Note to self: Mixing mint cookies and cream milkshake with chocolate milk results in a tasty drink, but it also results in a rather unappealing color. -
Cicada attack!
Rather than complaining and ranting about all that's happened to me in the last 24 hours (because, really, who wants to read that? Poor little puppy...
My poor little puppy... as per vet instructions, I gave him a pill this morning so he wouldn't be so anxious during his appointment. His nails really needed to be cut, but he flips out when anyone tries to do so, and the last time I brought him in, he was brought right back, his nails uncut, and the pill was prescribed ( Read more... )
