Ten favorite reads of 2015

Inspired by the year's best lists that come out this time of year, here's a list of my ten favorite reads of 2015. I mostly stuck to new reads, though I did slip in one reread. Also I twice cheated a little by counting a series as one read.

There's a wide range of stuff here. Maybe you'll find something you like. They're in no particular order.

Every December I wish I'd kept a list of what I've read during the year. *sigh* Maybe next year. Says she again.

You probably get a lot of your books from the library. I look at my Amazon purchase list.

I'll definitely try the Tana French series. Have to keep looking for interesting books!

You know how it is with genre fiction--they sometimes fall into a formula that can be satisfying but not very deep. I think these French books are so well done that they're much more substantive.

that's great. A few years ago I tried this Swedish writer, Camilla Lackberg, and really got tired of her books because it was too cliche... But I love mysteries, and detective stories, so I'm willing to try this.
