Did you know that phosphorus contained in Sahara sands is carried over the Atlantic Ocean to help feed the Amazon rainforest?
I have to smile every time I'm reminded of the beautiful systemic complexity of this world. Things do make sense at deeper levels, and there's still so much we don't yet know, or solve, or replicate. I really love that. -
Song of the Sea
Go see it if you have the chance. It's simply beautiful: the music, the story, the design... Also, nominated for best animated feature film. I saw it back in Novembre, at the film festival here.

Winter Days
This last week has been sunny and almost warm. On Monday, at the peak of shopping season, a friend and I drove to a small fishermen's village less than hour from the city. It was almost deserted, peaceful, silent and sunny, and we enjoyed a wonderful meal.
