Deep as a Tomb

DEEP AS A TOMB is now up on Amazon, though the cover pic still isn't showing. It's YA fantasy with murder, betrayal, and some smooching. Not every book is right for every reader, but if this sounds right for you or someone you know, buy, read, review, fanfic, whatever! With a small press, the writer's biggest problem is helping the right readers ( Read more... )

Huge congrats, daw! I'm thrilled for you :-)

I'm travelling the next few days for work so I've just put the short story on my Kindle for something to look forward to.

I'm trying to decide what to do about the novel. Amazon US says it'll take a few days to process but apparently does ship to me. Amazon UK, which I usually use for print, says it's not in stock. Hmm. Might just go with US. Because this is all about me, obviously...

The kindle version of Deep as a Tomb should be available soon too. I don't what the delay is about.

I actually kind of feel personally attached to this book and have a real fondness for it. I was looking for an e-mail recently and stumbled across a load of e-mails we exchanged way back when you were first working on it. So I feel invested in it :-D

If you wait a couple of days, Amazon UK might have it in stock too. I think it takes a while for things to move through the system.

I hope you're traveling for fun.

I sometimes look through old email too. You can find amazing things--huge fanfic battles for instance that now just look funny.

Travelling for work... But it's to Madrid so not all bad! I have to be on a bus in a while, though, because it's a crazy early flight from Dublin tomorrow :-(

I gave in and read your short story. It's really lovely. Great characters. The kindle is deceptive with its percentages so I was quite put out when it got to the end and I didn't know what happened next!!

Thank you. I think I've told you before that I find short stories hard to write.

I've never been to Madrid.

It's Beran and Myla, fostering together at his grandmother's house in the Forest where there's a wildcat god. Does that ring a bell?

Last time I looked the cover still wasn't there (it's in my icon though) nor was the ebook. They'll be along.
