I'm loving my job.  The work isn't always the most exciting, but it is steady and the people are GREAT.

Fantastic.

In other news, work is really good (but uni is 'meh'), so no change there.  Healthwise, I'm still getting sick, but my mutant healing factor (tm) seems to be kicking in.

Now off to dinner with some missionaries.

Life is most pleasing.

So I have a new job.  I am working for ComSuper (again) in IT Procurement - something I had barely heard of until a month ago.  After 2 days (1 of which was spent being inducted), I'm starting to have a general idea of what I'm going to be doing.  It looks surprisingly exciting.  Perhaps I have found a career ...

I'm too tired to do a proper update.

But I thought I'd let you know that I am still alive.

Oh, and in honour of my wife, I've created a new dessert.

Creme-Caramello Koala.
Take 1 creme Caramel, stick a Caramello Koala in the top.  Viola.

Hey, I never said it was a *good* dessert!

It went ok.  Not sure If I'll last longer than, ooh, say a few days, but it's a start.  Superanuation stuff aint overly exciting it turns out; who'd a thunk?  Anway I'm knackered, so I'm going to go.

Maybe I'll post more tomorrow night ...

So I just one my first game of BF:E.  I even won deployment and first turn!!!  Extra nice to finally trounce Jono, having been smashed by him a couple of times.  In the end though, not even his Sad-Rules-Lawyer-Argument could stave off defeat; his MEA horde utterly crushed beneath the might of China.  Now to work out what to do with his oil wells .

We made (for the first time)  Yum Cha style  dumplings for dinner last night.  So, so good.  Next  time might eat a few less however ( Read more... )
