I got out Eleanor's baby book this morning to write in her most recent new foods and the fact that she's standing on her own by supporting her weight on the ottoman. And when I opened it, I realized I hadn't written a thing in it since before she was born

If I have other children, I really am going to have to make a concerted effort to create meaningful documentation of the pregnancy, birth, and growth. I know it will be highly unlikely that my parents will be able to be present with me in the delivery room as they were with Eleanor (out of the way, of course), so that will already be a different set of pictures, but the other aspects I will have some control over... and hopefully will be able to implement plans to make that happen for them :-)
