I realize it has been a long time since my last post. Honestly, I was posting here partly as a way to get my frustrations out and maybe type my way through some logical thoughts and decisions, but mostly because my friends were posting here. Oh well. Now it's a good archive for some things past.

My Grey Chairs...
So, last fall, I bought 2 chairs for about 40 dollars at a thrift store. They are the perfect color. They are the perfect shape. And they are super comfy. I love them. We don't use them because of the fabric. Basically, I need to slipcover them in something less "itchy," and when I do, they will be spectacular!

Valentine's Day Wish List
Every gift-given Holiday, the hubby and I end up setting up a limit and then making wish lists for each other within that limit. Well, the hubby has been working super hard and we've not been able to establish a limit yet, so I am creating this wish list so he can see what I have been wishing for at several different price points.

I am signed up to bring mac 'n' cheese and cupcakes as a part of Christmas dinner to the guys on Kevin's squad who are on duty on the 25th... but this cupcake queen is stumped on flavors... something Christmas-y, something manly, not too heavy, no ginger allowed... leaning towards orange and candied cranberry... but is that not manly enough?

Caffeine and Breast Milk
I have recently been hitting myself over the head with my daily nutrition choices. When I gave birth, for a split second, I was so happy to be able to "have my body back to myself," and then I remembered that breast milk passes along any bad nutrition choice I make for myself.
