Ideas for Valentine's Day...

A date with the hubby-- not ON Valentine's Day.
A new camera/ or this new camera/ my camera fixed (Kay might be helping with this)
A printer for our office (and my old printer recycled)
A "date" with a friend to go shopping for clothes (and babysitting for Eleanor and any other kids if needed.  Carrie?  Candice?)

Yesterday, during our "play time" Eleanor and I read a couple of books, and I sang her lots of songs.  The singing continue until I got stumped for a new song and turned on the party music channel on tv.

We started singing "Everybody Dance Now," and I laughed at how absurd it was... AND SHE LAUGHED BACK!  She did it three times in a row!  Of course ( Read more... )

tomorrow will start the 4th decade of which I have been aware. Not that I'm 40... but it's just weird to think of things that way... and to imagine how my parents and grandparents must feel about the beginning of this decade...

Pain in the boob. Seriously. Have you worn the straps on a strapless bra before? It's like that. The constant struggle to keep the straps on your shoulders and the never quite in the right place cups. Only 24/7 because you can't sleep without leaking, so you have to wear a bra when you sleep. BAH!

I know I haven't had much time to update, and I promise I will add the story of Eleanor's birth (it's partially written and sitting on my desktop, but I haven't had the time to finish it). It is amazing how much time it takes to feed, change, rock, and burp a baby... I knew it would be, but it didn't hit me until I actually started living it. ( Read more... )
