Dad apparently had a full on nervous breakdown this morning. Couldn't remember who he was, where he lived, or even how to get inside his own home.  He's now in the hospital, as well ( Read more... )

We received moms prognosis today.  She has 2 weeks - 6 months.  She will likely be released on Monday to hospice care.  The upside, is that she will be able to come home and spend her remaining time at home.  The grim reality.. My mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer today.  We aren't sure of the stage yet.  But if it's too advanced, she simply cannot handle treatment.

I think my heart is officially shattered.

And I just moved.  3.5 hours away.  So.. I'm completely alone at the moment.

Fanfuckingtastic.

I'm not ready to lose her.

So me and the kids took our 3.5 road trip today to look at the house.  Met the guy, talked to him, drove around the [insanely tiny] town a bit..
