Ok, you know how much I love it when you write banter between them, mainly because you are so incredibly AWESOME doing it. If there's still room for it in your future chapters, I 'd definitely like to see more of it, please! =]

The "letting go of your hand" allegory almost had me to tears just thinking about what happens on the show.. ;____________________________; guh. seriously. had it not been thrown into a comical context I'd probably be crying. man. ;___; it was so clever to put it in there!

I agree. Juliet could take what Sawyer dealt and then throw it back at him. She'd also do it without getting offended or trying to bring him down by insulting his character. It's one of the reasons I love them so much.
