Of course you would be grateful, 99.9% of humanity would be grateful if people made such an effort to be some welcoming. Of course, Bella is such a special snowflake that she makes up the exclusive 0.1% that hates it.

As a small-town high school student, no, I would not give a shit. I flip through my yearbook and see people I've never seen before in my life who are apparently in my grade; who cares about some new kid, especially if she's as bland as Bella?
Let's face it: Everyone in high school is too self-absorbed to notice anyone unless they force their way into your viewpoint by being gorgeous/funny/otherwise interesting. Bella would fade into nothingness.

I desperately need to re-watch this movie with your comments -- you're very funny.

What kills me is that Bella is acting the exact opposite of every popular kid. She literally has done nothing other than show up and everyone is falling all over themselves trying to make friends with her.

I don't care if she lives in a town of fifteen people, I still don't think anyone would like her if she existed in real life.

Ha, after about ten minutes of that movie, I just wanted to die. I kept checking the time every ten minutes and the movie wouldn't end. It was a nightmare, and it was just so purely bad that I couldn't even laugh at it. That's saying something.

I love how you're analyzing the movie for its quality and not just for the snark because it would still suck as a movie, even if it weren't Twilight. This is awesome.

It is SO boring, seriously. Snarking it is the only thing keeping me going. It's actually taken me four hours to watch half an hour of this. Really. I keep having to take breaks because I lose interest and there is NOTHING HAPPENING. It's terrible. xD

I haven't read all of the books (though I've read enough to get the jist) but if its possible the film is even more sickening and cringe-worthy! I went to see it in the cinema (I have a monthly paid movie card - so its technically free) and I spent the whole time in hysterics...It was either that or cry n maybe top myself :p

But many kudos on watching it...It takes bravery! :D
