Alright, I’ve done it. I’ve downloaded Twilight (I’m not going to PAY for this shit, are you kidding me?). It’s sitting on my hard drive right now, mocking me. Meanwhile, my hard drive is begging me to DELETE, DELETE, WIPE THIS STAIN AND MAKE ME PURE AGAIN OH PLEASE JESUS. Soon enough, my sweet, soon enough.

Since I noticed a lot of people just ( Read more... )

I've never actually read the books (I read like, a chapter and a half of the first book and I was all, "What is this garbage? Why does this girl sound so annoying?" xD), but I bet if I had read the books AND watched the movie I would have killed myself

Thanks a lot :D Haha I'm glad people are enjoying this, it makes the pain of seeing the movie worthwhile :P

I commend you for making the effort to watch the film. I've had the DVD for a few months now which I got from my dads (who hate Twilight, but naively thought the movie would be good) and I want to do a review but can't bring myself to watch it.

I actually think RPattz was deliberately acting bad in Twilight; of course the only other movie I've seen him in is Harry Potter, but he seemed okay in that. I've read about his interpretations of Edward and how SMeyer was trying to convince him that Edward was awesome and he was all, "No, he's a weird freak" or something like that, so I figured he was trying to get that across in the film. Or maybe he thought if he sucked they wouldn't make him do the next films. ;)

The scene where he smells Bella in the classroom is hilarious, totally looks like he's throwing up in his hand.

I live in Toronto. There are two and a half million people here. Someone from a small town, please enlighten me: would you give a shit?
I actually just moved from Toronto, but I used to live in Belleville, pop. 38 000 ( ... )

The movie should have been about Charlie and his awesome mustache being badass as he tracks down Carslile with the help of his friend Billy. Also, Eric would have been involved somehow because he was fun and awesome. This is a Twilight movie I could watch more than once (his mustache is just that awesome XD)

Charlie's moustache, Billy's wheelchair, and Eric's bowler hat should have been the covers of the books instead of the apple/ribbon/flower bullshit.

From an everybody knows everybody aort of town, being the new kid gets you some attention for a couple of days, and then it dies off. While it could be possible (It's happened to me) for a girl to move and have al these guys ask her out, it's unlikely. Especially in a small school. In a big city with a very high guy to girl ratio, it's likely, but otherwise...pfft.

And if you're shy, you're doomed.
