What the F kind of camera do you have! Your pictures are amazing!

As a side note, I hate when I ask that question and then realize it's not so much the camera...it's just the people.

Yay! I'm so glad you liked them. I impulse-bought that lens the night before. I basically wanted to figure out how people got cool shots at bars without using a flash, and this was the lens recommended (Nikon 50mm f/1.8). It was relatively cheap, but doesn't autofocus with my Nikon D40, so I had to manually focus everything (which is hard, when you keep drinking and your idea of what "focused" is is skewed. I took like 300 pictures and only like 50 of them are even remotely useable). That was probably more than you needed to know. I was just really excited about it.
