I was telling K how happy I was that the Olympics are online this year because in recent years, only the top 3 horses were shown. And I like to watch ALL of the horses. He looked up at me and said "There are horses in the Olympics?"

Our electric bill has been close to $170 since June. May was $130 at which point I fainted and then after coming to, I unplugged everything possible and turned off our cable. Tvs are supposed to be HUGE electricy drainers. And you see what that did to our bill. The ac runs all the time even when kept at 75 plus. Something that really bothers a cali ( Read more... )

I finally caved and bought a sling for the kidlet. I REALLY wish I had listened to Leppie and had bought one before we brought him home. It is hot, but it's just as hot carrying him around.
