D had dozed on and off in the recliner she'd commandeered last night in 235, hands-free phone ear piece still in her ear and laptop cracked open in front of her.

She'd left the last text message from Parker showing on her phone so she'd remember to do something about breakfast before Rory or Mac had a chance to ask ( Read more... )

Jack's arms were completely full. He had a tray of coffees from the Perk and two big bags from J,Gob, one filled with things that were mostly good for you, one with things that most assuredly were not.

Parker had said breakfast was required, and Jack didn't do anything by half measures.

It did present a problem when it came to knocking, however Jack solved it by knocking with his head.

It took a moment for the thought that there was a noise that she shouldn't be hearing coming from the other side of the room to process in D'anna's brain.

Once it did, she half-fumbled, half-stumbled toward the door calling out, "just a second!"

"Not a problem," he called back. Jack could wait a second. Jack could wait several seconds, in fact, as he leaned on the wall next to the door, sniffing the lovely aroma wafting from the cups.

After a few moments, she succeeded in opening the door a crack.

Mac was already up and typing. She glanced over at D and her lips twitched in a slight smile when she saw she was awake. "Morning," she said, as she turned back to her laptop.

"Nothing exceptional," Mac replied, twisting in her chair again to look at D. "Just the surveillance photos telling us more of what we knew already. Other than that, I've just been checking out the files of the other couriers in case anything sticks out."

"Other couriers?" Something in D's brain finally flipped on. "Do you have info on the ones that are with our lot?"

Rory hadn't slept, no.

That would be why she was sporting the lovely dark-circles-under-one's eyes look that was so fashionable this season, and surrounded by neat piles of paper all bearing highlighted sections and things like pie graphs and flow charts.

This would also be why she had no idea how many cups of coffee she'd had.

"Hey, Ror," D said gently touching Rory's shoulder, "Jack brought us some breakfast from J.GOB. Would you like some?"

"Hmm?" Rory asked, starting a little at the touch. "Oh. Sure! Sorry. Have we found anything out yet?"

D sighed and went to get Rory a plate. "Other than Gavin Sr might be the employer of some shits? Nah."
