Parker had said breakfast was required, and Jack didn't do anything by half measures.
It did present a problem when it came to knocking, however Jack solved it by knocking with his head.

That would be why she was sporting the lovely dark-circles-under-one's eyes look that was so fashionable this season, and surrounded by neat piles of paper all bearing highlighted sections and things like pie graphs and flow charts.
This would also be why she had no idea how many cups of coffee she'd had.
