Tour of my Space, Redux Part One: India

Feb 21, 2010 17:11

So some of you saw my space before, when it was less complete. This is what needs to still be done:

India: New platform bed to get the mattress off the floor, new Sari silk duvet cover and more pillows (I know...more pillows?) Two more prints framed and hung. Until then:

Welcome to India )

Oh honey, I love your room - how beautifully colorful and intricate. :)

We had a fun day today with the bunnies. Thistle decided he wanted to go live with the BunBoys (English Angoras) and Martha, so we put Hex out in his old pen to play outside for a few hours. They are having the time of their lives sniffing through the fence, we truly think that they recognize each other by scent or some other fashion.

That is so cool. I have some pics of Nyx, which I'm putting up in my "Ireland tour," as that's where he's living. Things are calming down now. Let's set a date for a visit!

You let me know when, my schedule is really quite open - Josh will likely be out on cruise, but that shouldn't be too much of an issue. :)

I'll need some menu ideas, as well as foods to stay away from.

The winery thing would depend on whether Hari is willing to be DD. He doesn't drink, you know. He'd definitely go for the "cheaper" bit, but Toronto has a ROCKIN' Indian community, and there are a lot of people I want to meet/see there. Not so much in Arva, where's there's only one. Are there a lot of Indians in Arva? LOL

Thanks! It's also cozy. :)

This is what happens when a woman has a vision and also does not have to consult anyone else or cater to their tastes. I find that my mom's spaces are a lot like that, too. She has great taste, she just was not able to indulge or express it until her kids were out of the house!

I LOVE the fabric on the inside back of the bookcase. That just completely alters the entire concept of it being a storage item.

Lovely. Altogether lovely.
