Coincidentally, I just finished Normal on Guitar Hero 2 this morning. It was my first chance to spend some time with the game and while it was pretty fun, I personally found the song selection lacking. :(

GH2's song selection is really, really inconsistent. You have awesome stuff like YYZ and Girlfriend mixed in with songs that are a complete chore to play, like War Pigs and Freebird. From what I've seen of Rock Band's songlist it looks much better.

Oh yeah, you said lunch isn't good for you after this week - what about a dinner sometime next week?

Actually, I rather liked playing Freebird. Maybe it's the novelty of the whole thing, but playing a 10 minute song feels like an accomplishment if you get to the end.

Now I have to save up for an XBrick 420. Damn Harmonix for making good games. :D
