The story that Li Ao said Singaporeans are 'stupid' (translated by ST as such, but actually 笨 can mean many other things) made it to Taiwan's Udn. I shall just play news aggregater here:

Such comments naturally make a lot of us uncomfortable. I'm a Singaporean who migrated here from Hong Kong
