At Columbia they have a facebook group that one of my friends is in that's called "Hey Mr. Darcy - Get down off that horse and ride me instead!" and another called "Firth lovers against the new P&P movie." If I were into Colin Firth or P&P at all, I'd start one. But I'm not. Still, I think it should happen, so I'm just throwing that out there.

The girl who lives in your old room beat you to it. Pride and Prejudice Addicts has been a facebook group for some time now.

I don't see how you don't like Pride and Prejudice. Can you imagine what it would be like if our only job in life was to secure a husband? And we'd hopefully be finished with it by now? Elizabeth Bennet is twenty years old. I adore comedies of manners. And a comedy of manners just isn't a comedy of manners unless it ends in a double wedding! Only Austin and Wilde could make things like that seem somehow not completely absurd.
