Half Dome!!
Been too busy to update much, but I wanted to say that I got a permit for Half Dome tomorrow, Wednesday. I'll be getting up about 4:30 to start, and the weather looks promising. Wish me luck! I'll update again on Thurs.

Adventures in vidding!
After 2 months, $50+, and 3 calls to Apple, I was finally able to get my OS upgraded enough to get the new iMovie today. Then I stumbled across this vidding site, which has all kinds of useful technical info on the whole process (this is the Mac page but there's a PC page too). Sometime in the next couple weeks, my cat, Sicily, will have her 20th birthday. To illustrate just how long ago that was, she is named after the town in Northern Exposure.
