thanks!
i love mr. cobain so very much
strange, my three idols - sylvia plath, kurt cobain and marilyn monroe all killed themselves -
well, only sylvia was a definate suicide
people have been wondering about the other two forever
me - i don't know what to believe! maybe they killed themselves and maybe they didn't. i don't know.

Looks like we have those idols in common then!

(I firmly believe Marilyn was murdered....I won't go on about here because I honestly wouldn't ever stop! I recommend 'The Assassination of Marilyn Monroe' by Donald Wolfe - there's been so many about the different theories, but his is the best I've read yet - and it pulls all the strands together.)

i think the best Marilyn book i read was Goddess by Anthony Summers.

i really can't decide whether she killed herself or not - i get so confused! her death was very suspicious though! arrrr. i think that when we die we learn all the secrets of the universe - ie, how the pyramids were built, is elvis dead, and, most importantly, what really happened to kurt and marilyn?

I haven't read any books, but seen many biographies and documentaries to believe that she was murdered. Everyone tends to think she had an overdose on drugs, although she was taking many depression and sleeping pills, I believe she did not die from that. For instance, Elvis, died because of the many prescribed medications he was taking, if Marilyn did the same, don't you think her body would have gained weight as Elvis's did ( ... )

...yeah...and she had 'threatened' to give a press conference on the Monday to 'tell all' from her red book about the Kennedys. Coincidence that she died the weekend before she could do that?? No way ( ... )

Wow, that was so much more than I knew. It's so sad, I can't believe they got away with it.

misfit - added you, now add me back :)

ophelia: i read the donald wolfe book (i think) - i have so many marilyn books it's obscene! i'll write them out for you.
about kurt - he had so much dope in him he wouldn't have been able to shoot himself, plus he "shot" himself with a rifle and he would have had to pull the trigger with his toe and there was too much dope in his system for him to have done that, plus there were no fingerprints on the bullets - dead men don't wipe their prints! i read a really good book about it, called Who Killed Kurt Cobain? The Mysterious Death of an Icon by Ian Halperin and Max Wallace.

I read that book. It was good. ^^ A good Kurt bio is 'Heavier Than Heaven'. You can get his Journal, too. It's pretty cool.

Oh it's good to know that's a good book - I've had it for a while but I STILL haven't read it. And the journals...still sitting in my bookcase unread.
