Who still comes here and uses LJ, really? Diana, Erika, Da3n? Couple of communities I read, I guess?

I mean, I only log in to post reviews of things. Should I just move over to tumblr and be done with this?

I'm here daily. Incidentally, as I ask anyone who leaves here, what's going on at these other sites that isn't going on here? Dare those cowards to come back. ;)

As people tend to scatter to the winds that I've been reading or interacting with for years, I often ponder putting an identity or footprint down on a few other sites, but I'm not leaving here until they call for a closure, or have to take a drastic and destructive left turn at albuquerque that affects me personally before I need to find a new home.

See, that's just it - I'm only here like once or twice a week, now, and I don't really feel like I'm MISSING something. I mean, sure, I get a day or two behind, but it doesn't have the urgency or the life it once did. I mean, hell, of my friends list it's literally just the folks in the above post that post most days. Some are gone, some are (possibly?) dead, some just don't get on here anymore.

I figure I'll leave this around - I just don't know what I'm going to post here anymore, is all.

Right - I do the same. What used to be a 30 minute catch-up overnight for 50 posts is now something I can count on one hand and read in five minutes. Granted, I've kept more long-term friends here than I've actively made, mostly from those busy days, because who really has time to read hundreds of active posters per day

Right, exactly. Most people on my list seem to have moved over to FB/Twitter/whatever and use it instead of coming here. I find that all I really do here anymore is post 'reviews', occasionally post 'serious' filtered stuff, or bitch about things that won't fit in the tiny windows the other services provide.

LJ has always been much better at social integration than any other blogging service, what with the friendslist and all that. I guess I'm just sad it seems to be withering, s'all. I even started a 2nd LJ for a personal project, and now I'm thinking it would've been better suited to a tumblr or something. Meh.

I open LJ every morning at work. I don't post much here, but I still read people's stuff.

I log in at work a couple of times a week, and try to post movie/game reviews. I'd read more stuff if, like Dan said above, more people posted more often. Pretty much everyone moved over to FB but for the random once-yearly (and I'm totally guilty of this) 'serious posts', it seems.

You know I'm here, bro, but even I've mostly moved over to Dreamwidth... I read my reading list there every day, as opposed to LJ, which I read once a week.

But I'm still hitting 400+ posts on that once a week go over.

I know. I'm down to <15 a day if I leave it, these days, and most of those are from the atheism and abandoned placed comms.
