This country we're living in is scary, when you have a Teflon President who can bully and lie his way through everything. :( I'm Canadian by birth and seriously thinking about moving back, even though I've lived here longer now than I lived in my home country.

You know, the Bush has this country so fucked up that I was talking to my friend on the phone the other day about just how fucked up it was and she actually said, "You might want to be careful what you say on the phone." Oh my friggin' god. That of course just set me off and I said all kinds of nice things to any fed that might be eavesdropping. ;)

It infuriates me that you had to deal with that crap, as friends of mine in similar situations - basically doing nothing and minding their own business - have had to deal with.
