I don't really have the time ot ponder the meme, but your first two categories are remarkably spot-on from my perspective. There's probably other names I'd add, but I can't think of them right now.
I don't know if I'd call Lie to Me absolutely awesome. It's pretty good. I've watched every episode, and there have really only been two or three that I thought were really good.
The main character is a total dick although it's not always in that engaging of a way. I also think they've underdeveloped a lot of the supporting characters which I feel have a lot of potential.
I will say I was happy with the way they resolved the "affair" subplot.
I mean, don't get me wrong, it's had enough good moments for me to keep watching it every week, but there are certainly better shows on tv.

P.S. Also, glad to hear everything's coming up spoony. I can commiserate with the wishing for a week of relax time. Last year I went to both summer sessions, and I think my week between each was spent doing stuff.
Dude...no. Those damned Alliance cities are laid out piss poor! And the barren Horde landscape is good, it means I don't have eye bleed from the obscene amounts of purple and green. (LOL, I actually think city layout hatred is based soley on where you start out =p)
Glad school is going well. Humanities Grad school, it's pretty much Kindergarten...
while I think there is something to be said about it being what you are used to, Iron Forge is by far better laid out then any horde city. You can get everywhere with no problem, no multiple level or one track routes to things, everything is easily accessable.
Plus I do prefer alliance story stuff. Definitely much tighter and in my opinion very obvious that especially the old world stuff, alliance was done first and not rushed
I'm glad things are going mostly well for ya. And I do hope that Dragon keeps moving forward. I really like my new character...I think it was the right choice to make.
We should try to hang out more this summer. I feel like I never see you guys anymore :P

In terms of TV, I've also been pimping "Lie to Me" to people - it's absolutely awesome, the main character is a total dick...
Good luck with school stuff!
