well not to criticize what you are saying, but: i think all of that is fairly obvious. and i also think that it doesnt really matter all that much. i mean, even IF humanity was equivalent to a common machine, so what? we still live our lives, we still have opportunities, its not like similarity to a machine is limiting us. we are still free do make the most of everything and enjoy ourselves. and even if someday machines are capable of emotion and so on and so forth....whats the big deal? i just think its one of those things that doesnt really require very much thought, just because 1) we know we arent machines. 2) even if we were it doesnt hinder us in any way or belittle our importance.
