IU does have a great English program, I just don't enjoy reading any novels written before the 20th century for the most part.

I prefer not to read pre-20th century American literature. But the British, French, Japanese, German, and Russians were all diggity down in my opinion. At least the stuff they've had me read here is good.

Jane Austen with a massive superiority complex. George Eliot was an incredibly intelligent lady though.
