Songs or Roads and Highways

Sep 14, 2008 14:41

I need to put together a pretty lengthy mix of songs about 'the road' and 'traveling' and such for an upcoming event. They need to be PG-rated and not to downbeat. Any ideas?

Jim Croce's "Movin me down the highway" sounds pretty good to me all these years later, or so was my reaction when I heard it yesterday.

You should play trucker and CB songs exclusively. You've got Red Sovine, Red Simpson and all the other Reds. C.W. McCall's Convoy is universally loved.
