I've had a bad, bad case of the antisocials for a while now. But I might, just might, be coming out of it.

I am, but I may be in the taking comfort stage right now. Am flying home tomorrow to be a part of the support group for dad's triple bypass. (Somehow, I never expected the heart attack thing, even though his blood sugar went through the roof...)

Well, if it's any comfort, my dad's still ticking after several bypasses and a fistful of shunts. At 60 they told him he wouldn't make it to 65. He just turned 80 :D

Hang in there, I'll hold my thumbs for you (as dad would say).

I still check LiveJournal just about daily, but it seems like a lot of my friends have stopped posting and reading here.

I'm around: I have to be, since the car needs transmission work and the bus ride to work takes two hours each way!

Buses are a way of life for me. Doesn't help with the antisocialness.

I'm here too! Work is devouring the vast majority of my time these days, but I try to check LJ every day. Don't post as much as I once did, but I still do every now and then (like later today, since I have a movie to talk about).
