What's up!! Let me start by saying The Faint is seriously one of the best bands live that I've ever seen. And I've sat through many bands, trust me. The first two bands sucked. They were Beep Beep and TV on the Radio. Tv on the Radio were so incredibly boring that I was starting to fall asleep. My body just wanted to lay down. I had no energy. And

starland ballrooms pretty cool. i was only there once but it was for eighteen visions so yeah...you know how that goes. that was the night i surfed up and ended up with my arm around james singing into the mic with him. awesome.

Yeah everyone was pretty much dancing so there wasn't much crowd surfing and the like. One guy did get on stage and jumped into the crowd but that was about it. It seemed like a fun place if it wasn't hot as all hell.

yeah its not too bad of a place. cool small stage. but youre right about the hot thing....after 18V who played first, i was soaked in sweat. but then again, maybe being crammed against the front of the crowd where its always tight and wearing dickies pants, two tshirts, and a hat might have had something to do with it
