Work is not my happy place right now. I have to take a new position, and while I don't really mind the work, I have to move to another desk. The desk in in the CSR room, aka the Fishbowl. On the plus side, I get to look out a window that actually goes to the outside and I don't have to climb the stairs to go down to production, which should be ( Read more... )

funny story about those colors:

I started out thinking it would look really good in blue and green and white. I had to go to Ready to Sew anyways so I decided to get the fabric there. I walked in and saw the green and went Ooo! and then I turned around and saw the blue. They worked really well together but it needed something. I tried a bunch of stuff and then the red said "Pick ME!" I get home and I can't find white anywhere to save my life. I must have used it all and not known it (I'm still suspicious of that...) so I went to Hancock's to get more and lo and behold, they're raised their price on Kona Cotton to $5.99 a yard! HIGHWAY ROBBERY! So I stomped out (after buying some t-shirt knit) and called Hobby Lobby, who still had it at the $3.99 price. I get there and the white didn't look right. So I tried all different colors and the chocolate popped. The colors look soooo much better in person! I can't wait for you guys to come over this weekend and see it.

The whole thing looks great. Sorry you had to make two trips - but at least you got the right price in the end!

Thanks! I work at Ginny's Printing, which is an absolutely wonderful company to work for. I'm just being cranky about not havng any say in the move. :)

Usually, but goodness only knows what positions. I'll check tomorrow when the receptionist is at her desk. She keeps the list of open positions.
