It could be a good chance to practice (or learn, in my case) paper piecing. On the other hand - how many ladies are coming and can you paper piece by machine? Else I'd worry about time constraints.

It's foundation piecing, not english paper piecing, thank bob. I can imagine that would take forever!

In that case, play with the duck tracks in reds and see which you like better - I think they both look beautiful.
