Reading Lakota Woman has really wanted me to get more in touch with the Indian culture that I have been so far detached from. I know I have some Cherokee blood in me. I would like to see if I could find out more about my lineage, and maybe see if I could take part in some of these rituals. Maybe witness or take part in a Sun Dance.
