No snow for me ... i had to drive (not very far though) to see the snow this weekend. And i did have a light frost on my car this morning - twice actually, once before the gym and once when i got out of the gym. ~9 yrs old, i saw Pippin. And at that moment i knew what i wanted to be when i grew up - a jazz dancer on "the stage" (it didn't have to be Broadway, but that was a thought since i grew up in NJ!).  (btw-I had been dancing since i was ~4 yrs old.) mr.deankat and i went to see Weezer last night. I thought it was a great show, but "others" did not: Weezer show fails to hit stride. It was quirky, herky-jerky, but fun and playful. i really enjoyed it. 
They had 2 opening bands - we didn't see the first, but the second was Angels and Airwaves, founded by Blink-182 Tom DeLonge. I've never heard ( Read more... )

sunday - mr.deanakt and i hiked up "Hogback Loop" Trail. it is ~3.5mi ; pretty steep uphill. we saw quite a few people out there, so that made it even more interesting.  i kept saying - "2 women just did this carry babies! you can do it too!" i actually can't wait to run it! ;) oh yeah ( Read more... )

On Saturday, we drove out to Rocky Mountain National Park to see the elk.  The park is beautiful. The elk are huge! believe it on not, at the highest point in the park, it snowed on us! yay! as we came down, it turned to rain. 
i overheard one women say - "Its a Packer fall - green and gold!" hehehe (green pine trees with the yellow aspen leaves)

Moto (my black/white cat) got his head stuck in one of those square tissue boxes this morning.  i was cracking up so hard at the sight of him! :)
