this morning, it was 44F when i woke up @ 6am MDT. The high today is supposed to reach 70F.  right now, it is 57F ...

On August 22, my Aunt tripped over her dog's rope and broke her tibia at the insertion into the knee.  We were all laughing because this is so not like her to be clumsy.  She went into a rehab/hospice facility since she wasn't able to get around on her own while waiting for the orthopedic surgeon to make a decision on how on to put her back ( Read more... )

I got these last Thursday night (P.F. Changs) after 4 very stressful days @ work finally coming to a successful closure. I took them as a sign that things would be getting better. And they have. yay!

cousin barb and i bought 2 movies on Sunday and watched:
Wrist Cutter's, A Love Story on Sunday. a pretty good dark comedy. i've wanted to see this movie for well over a year and really liked it.
Smart People on Monday. good very dark comedy. this one is a bit dark boarding on not funny, still a funny "study" of "smart people".

There are prairie dogs everywhere! My temporary housing is in Louisville/Superior and the complex is surrounded by prairie dogs! Happy co-existence in the 'burbs. I'm in temporary housing which is ~10 miles south of work. I have to "climb" up and out to get to Boulder and there is an incredible view at the highest point. I want to let you know that I have been offered and accepted the “Rocky Mountain IT Associate Coordinator” position with WFM. As of August 15th, my hubby an I will be relocating to Boulder, CO. I leave with both excitement and with regret.
